Police Seek Driver in Downtown Los Angeles Hit-and-Run

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking information a suspect involved in a hit-and-run last night in downtown Los Angeles.

Authorities report that a driver ran into a pedestrian at Grand Avenue and Ninth Street at around 11 p.m. last night.

The 27-year-old victim was sent flying from the impact, 35 feet over the windshield of the car landing in the street as the driver pulled off.

The victim suffered broken ribs, knee, and hands injuries from the impact of the car and is currently recovering according to an LAPD news release.

The city of Los Angeles is offer a reward of $25,000 for any information that leads to the capture and conviction of a driver or drivers involved in any injury hit-and-run crashes.
