Santa Clara County: 3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southwest Of Gilroy Early Monday

A preliminary magnitude 3.0 earthquake has struck in unincorporated Santa Clara County early Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was reported at 1:37 a.m. and was measured at just less than 2 miles deep, approximately 3 miles from Gilroy, per the USGS.

There are no initial reports of injuries or damage.
