WHITTIER (CNS) – At least 50 vehicles were vandalized at various locations around Whittier, police said this morning.
Officers began receiving calls about 10 p.m. Thursday about vandalized vehicles, according to the Whittier Police Department.
Video from the scene showed several vehicles with side and rear windows were blown out.
Police said the windows may have been shot out by someone with a BB gun, NBC4 reported.
A news photographer at the scene said other vehicles in La Habra and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County near Whittier were also damaged.
Neither a description of the suspects nor a motive for the vandalism was immediately available.
