SANTA ANA (CNS) – A woman was killed and the driver of the vehicle she was in was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving after the vehicle crashed into a parked Santa Ana police SUV, a police corporal said today.

The two officers inside the SUV suffered some pain and were taken to an area hospital as a precaution, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department.

The crash occurred at 10:35 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of North Lowell Street, Bertagna said.
