LASD Detectives Search for Missing San Gabriel Man, 59

SAN GABRIEL (CNS) – Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help today to find a missing 59-year-old man from San Gabriel who suffers from a heart condition and may be suicidal.

Delwin Chaopei Liu was last seen about 1 p.m. in the 5500 block of Angelus Avenue, Deputy Shawn DuBusky said.

Liu is Asian-American. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 190 pounds and drives a gold 2005 Honda Pilot with California license plate 5RRC983, DuBusky said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Missing Persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
