Earthquake Shakes Border Region

PASADENA (CNS) – A magnitude-4.0 earthquake shook the California-Baja California border region today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The temblor hit at 2:13 a.m. at a depth of 11 miles, its epicenter .9 mile East of El Centro, according to a computer-generated message from the U.S.G.S.

This comes on the heels of two 3.5 earthquakes that shook Southern California over the weekend.
