Clayton Kershaw has gotten off to one of the best starts of his career this season, but he’ll be sidelined indefinitely with a pelvic injury. The Dodgers placed the three-time Cy Young Award winner on the injured list Friday due to inflammation in his SI joint.
Kershaw, who was originally slated to start against the Phillies on Friday night, has won four of his five starts this season and posted a 1.80 ERA across 30 innings.
Lefty Garrett Cleavinger was recalled to fill Kershaw’s roster spot.
