Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” was named Best Rap Album at the 2023 Grammys, his third win in the category. He thanked his family for giving him courage to share his vulnerability when accepting the award. Other nominees included DJ Khaled, Future, Jack Harlow and Pusha T. The album, which looked inward to tackle personal and family traumas, debuted at No. 1, selling 295,000 units. Earlier on Sunday, Lamar also won for Rap Song and Rap Performance. Tyler, the Creator won the 2022 Grammy in the category for “Call Me If You Get Lost”.
